Bring a touch of nature into your home with natural Candle Sand, a clean-burning, reusable plant based wax made from soft, sand-like granules. Also known as sand wax or pearl wax, this innovative candle material lets you create your own candles without any melting or mess.

Simply pour the Candle Sand into one of our heat-safe, hand made concrete vessels, insert a wick, and light. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil near the wick (in the melt pool) for a personalised touch. Either blow out the candle or let it burn to the end, replace the hardened wax with fresh Candle Sand, add a new wick and you’re ready to light again. Or for a zero waste option, grab one of our calico bags to crush the hardened wax in and re-use the wax.

🔥 How to Use

1. Choose a heat-safe container (concrete, glass, ceramic, or metal).
2. Pour in the candle sand to your desired height.
3. Insert a wick (approx 3-6 cm long) about 0.5cm - 1cm from the top .
4. Light and enjoy a beautiful, natural glow.
5. Add a few drops of fragrance or essential oil near (not on) the wick.
6. When finished, let it cool, then dispose or crush and reuse the hardened wax, refill and re-light.
